Friday April 26- Saturday April 27, Goodells county park (8264 County Park Dr, Goodells, MI 48027).  Come stop by our booth at Earth Fair at Goodells County Park! We will be set up in the middle barn with activity boards, educational materials, invasive species specimens and volunteer information. 


Saturday May 11th, 9:00am-12:00pm  Salt River Nature Preserve (located at the end of Hooker Rd., Chesterfield, MI 48047) Spend the morning with us at the beautiful Salt River Nature Preserve to learn how to identify and control invasive garlic mustard. Saturday May 11th 10AM-2PM, 52216 Sierra Dr, Chesterfield, MI 48047. Come stop by our booth at the Chesterfield Township Department of Public Works open house to get all of your invasive species questions answered!

The 18th annual Clinton River Water Festival is happening at Oakland University May 27th. Water Festivals are a great way for 5th graders to learn about water-related issues in their communities. They will have the chance to learn from and interact with state and federal government employees, natural resource groups, environmental consultants and conservancies, museums, and college students.

Our booth will allow students to see and learn about the impact of aquatic invasive species affecting Michigan



Saturday June 1, 2024 10AM-3PM, Fort Gratiot Lighthouse Park (2900 Conger St. Port Huron, MI 48060). Come visit our Booth at Sturgeon Fest! We will have activity boards, invasive species specimens and information on aquatic invasive species.

Woody Workday Volunteer

Tues., Feb. 6, 10am-12pm, Woodsong County Park (3494 Abbottsford Rd., North Street, MI 48049) Join the Lake St. Clair Cooperative Invasive Species Management Area (CISMA) and St. Clair County Parks for a Woodsong Woody Workday volunteer workday. Thu., June 1, 9am-12pm, Alice Moore Woods Nature Sanctuary (999 Stratford Rd., St. Clair, MI 48079) Join us in the morning at the Michigan Nature Association's beautiful Alice Moore Woods Nature Sanctuary to learn how to identify and control invasive garlic mustard. Garlic mustard pulls are most effective while the plant is still flowering, so in the case this event takes place to late in the season an alternative Native Plant Hike and ID day will take place! Volunteer Kayak Event!

Fri., June 23, 9am-12pm, Webber Paddle Park (49239 Jefferson Ave., New Baltimore, MI 48047) 

Join us for a fun morning of paddling the Salt River and learning about the threat of invasive species while helping to protect our waterways!
